A few weekends ago, my partner and I took in a bunch of our extended family. My sister, her husband, and their three small children came to stay with us while they had their property fogged for pests. They also brought all of their furry babies with them as well. Between us, them, and our pets, that put the body count near twelve individuals in our small two bedroom home. I think it was way too much for our HVAC system to maintain, because late Saturday evening, our air conditioner stopped working all together. I had noticed that it was subsequently feeling rather warm inside the house, and when I looked at the thermostat, it was reading seventy six degrees. I figured the air conditioner was having problems keeping up, and I adjusted the thermostat to 76, so it could reduce the cooling work. We retired for the evening a few minutes later. I woke up at four o’clock in the morning, drenched in a pool of sweat! The air conditioner must have stopped working sometime during the previous couple of hours. The thermostat was reading 81 degrees during those times, and my sister was additionally awake, and drinking coffee at the table. We called a several HVAC companies, and made an appointment for them to come out that next evening. We woke everyone else up, and decided to go out to a very, very early omelette breakfast. By the time we arrived back at the house, it was very near the time the A/C repair person might possibly be coming. The problem was small to medium sized, and we were able to get the A/C working again in a sufficient amount of time.
