Heating and thermostat was too far

I have happily ridden horses since I was a little boy, and was entirely heavily involved for most of my youth. I worked at some horse barns in the area in order to get the lesson horses ready and  received myself free riding privileges for many of my younger years. Then I finally owned my own horse and lived close enough to ride the horse for hours every afternoon. Truly, I was obsessed with the critters and got quite skilled when it comes to riding and handling them. That’s why it was so surprising the afternoon that I was actually shockingly bucked off and broke my leg. I’ve never sustained a dire injury before, so this was especially strange if you ask me. Now I was abruptly holed up at home, barely able to hobble right over to the bathroom even. It became a big problem with the heating and cooling in my larger house, because of the medicine I was constantly alternating between being hot and chilly temperatures and needed to adjust the thermostat time and time again. The faulty oil furnace was annoyingly acting up and wouldn’t hold a steady temperature, either. I tried keeping myself set up right next to the thermostat, so I could legitimately switch between the gas furnace as well as the older air conditioning system as needed, however after that the people I was with and I seemed to be further away from the bedroom and bathroom. Eventually, I decided enough was enough and had a little portable furnace shipped to my house. Now I can turn the little oil furnace on as needed, and just lug it around the house with me so it’s constantly conveniently at hand. I can’t wait for my obnoxiously broken leg to heal so I can go back to being fully mobile and using a more official Heating and A/C plan again.
