A properly working heater

It is that wonderful season of the year again when the weather is starting to grow a little cooler, pumpkin flavored foods of all varieties have once again made their journey to the store shelves, and everyone is already starting to shop for Halloween costumes. Certainly, autumn has arrived in all its majestic splendor. Autumn is always my favorite time of year. It is also the best time for us to have our HVAC system fully evaluated for virtually any repair needs. To properly sustain your home’s heating and cooling system, it is highly recommended that you have your HVAC system fully inspected no less than twice a year. The preferable times of having your HVAC system maintained are in the spring, and in that autumn. The reason for the following, is that the more extreme seasons follow these two. You never want to enter a winter without a properly working furnace, nor would you like to enter the summer without a properly working air conditioner. So, if you take a minute to think about it, spring and autumn are like “signposts” for our home maintenance schedule. They let us know that it’s not only a time for natural wonder, but it is also an occasion for HVAC system maintenance. Once I note that first leaf turn a different color and fall from the tree in my front yard, I immediately call our local HVAC business to arrange an inspection. Signs are intended to be followed. When you see the changing seasons as HVAC system guideposts, you won’t ever have to worry about your broken air conditioner or furnace when you want them the most.
