Last summer, my sibling and I took several weeks off from work in order to travel across the country. Both of us packed our clothes, a cooler and a bunch of supplies into his old van and hit the road. In order to save money, both of us camped for most of the evenings. Sometimes both of us would find a campground and pitch a tent, and sometimes we’d simply pull off into a rest section and sleep in the van. Every now and after that both of us would invest in a cheap hotel. The a single day, the temperature climbed up to 110 degrees while I was in the day, and both of us were definitely miserable. Even with the a/c blasting in the van, both of us were hot and uncomfortable. My sibling and I decided to spend a little extra for a great hotel. Both of us were hoping for a comfortable bed, cold shower and air conditioning. Both of us ended at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. It was nearly severalo’clock at evening, and my sibling and I were exhausted. Both of us abruptly discovered that the hotel provided no amenities. There was no fitness center, swimming pool, laundry facilities or on-site restaurant. When both of us dragged our bags into the room, both of us realized that the a/c was not now working. Both of us instantly complained to the guy at the front desk. He informed us that there were no other rooms available however promised to get an Heating and Air Conditioning business to supply repairs right away. My sibling and I ended hanging out in the lobby, because is was the only spot available with air conditioning. Both of us sat around for more than 2 hours and finally demanded our money back. Both of us were way better off sleeping in the van. At least both of us could start it up and run the a/c.
