I dropped my space heater down the stairs

Now, I am back to freezing all the time again

I have some troubles with my apartment right now, and I cannot seem to get ahold of my landlord. I have tried calling him several times, and I even drove to his house twice to see if I could talk to him about some of the issues I am having at my apartment. I am not sure if he is purposely ignoring me, but it sure seems like he is. If I cannot get ahold of him soon, I will simply have to move to a new place. I have been wanting to move to a bigger apartment anyways, so I am wondering if this is the right time since I am having so many troubles in the place that I am at now. The biggest problem that I am having is that my apartment is not heating properly. It only gets up to about fifty-five degrees most days, and I freeze, especially during the night. I bought myself a space heater from a garage sale to use in my bedroom at night, and it helped keep me warm. Unfortunately, I dropped it down the stairs and broke it. I only have about five stairs leading into my apartment, but somehow, my poor space heater broke falling down so few stairs. Now, I am back to freezing all the time again. I have thought about buying another space heater, but I looked at the prices for a new one, and they can be quite expensive. The space heater that I accidently broke was actually a really nice brand, so I know that I will not be able to afford another one of those.
